Mountain Creek Rates
Day Rate: Minimum required stay: 3 days/2nights
Mountain Creek Game Park is so secluded that no credit card facilities exists. Therefore, a non-refundable 50% deposit (EFT) into Mountain Creek Game Park's business account, will confirm your booking with the remaining 50% payment, deposited 30 days before arrival date.
Please note that no cell phone or TV is available at the luxury Creek Cottage and camping area, as the aim is to provide clients with a wilderness adventure. The homestead has limited cell phone reception and a land line is available for emergency use.
Daily Rates: $500 per adult person per day, $100 per child 15 years and under.
Mountain Creek Day Fees includes 24 hours entrance to the game park, a minimum of one game drive, access to a 4WD ATV, BYO camping, firewood, ablution facility and a Mountain Creek Game Park ranger/guide for the game drive(s).
Accommodation
Camping: Is included in the day fee. Caravans, swags, tents are all welcome and are viewed as camping. When camping, the client supply all own tents, swags, caravan, etc. (Please note that Day Fees are calculated by adding the nights a person(s) stay.
Creek Cottage: AUD $500 per day for the cottage, irrespective of the number (up to eight) of people sleeping in the cottage. The Creek Cottage is air-conditioned and sleeps up to eight people. Cottage has two bedrooms: bedroom one has a luxury Queen size bed and bedroom two has 6 single size bunk beds. It has a luxurious modern bathroom with hot shower, fully equiped kitchen, dining area and under cover deck. It is situated next to beautiful creek. It is fully self-contained with electrical stove, refrigerator, coffee machine, gas BBQ on undercover deck, cooking utensils, bedding, etc. All the above specified items are included in the Day Fee when renting the cottage. The luxury Creek Cottage is great for a special weekend getaway. Just come, bring your friends, food, drinks, personal toiletries and a great sense of adventure.
An example to calculate cost for accommodation for a weekend (arrival Friday afternoon to departure Sunday afternoon = 2 nights) in the Creek Cottage for 2 adult visitors: Multiply the $500 Day rate per person for the 2 adults for 2 days = $2,000.00. Add the $1,000.00 Creek Cottage accommodation for 2 nights for a grand total of of $3,000.00.
Mountain Creek's Day Fees include unlimited 4x4 ATV vehicle use with supplied fuel, guided game drive, firewood for open fire luxury stone barbecue "Lapa" at camping area, use of equiped cold room facility (if needed) and Range Officer and Firearm Safety Instructor supervision while making use of designated rifle sighting in area.

2022 Hunting Safari Season: Mountain Creek experienced once again a fully booked out year. Therefore, a huge thank you is due to all our annual returning clients, as well as the few new clients we had the privilege to meet this year. Thank you all for sharing great adventure stories around the warm camp fires in the new stone "Lapa" and other great adventures we shared in the wilderness during your 2022 safari. Please note that only bookings for 2023 Hunting and or Eco Safaris remain. All available 2022 Safaris were sold.
2022 Game Animal Fees
Fee will depend on the type of game animal you harvest.
Fallow deer (trophy): $3,000.00
Fallow deer (non-trophy): $1,000.00
Chital deer: $3,000 (All available hunting slots for 2022 are sold already)
Rusa deer (trophy): $3,500.00
Rusa deer (non-trophy): $2,000.00
Red deer: $3,500 and $300 per point bigger than 12 pointer
Scrub cattle: $ 2,000.00
Water Buffalo (trophy): $8,000.00 (The Big Dangerous Game Water Buffalo Trophy Bull Hunting Safari 2022 is sold)
Non-trophy game animals (Biltong Bokke) sometimes available at a special price - (unfortunately currently none available).
Butchering, caping and/or taxidermy can be arranged at client's cost, when requested at time of booking.
Deposit and Payment
50% deposit of day fees, accommodation and anticipated trophy fee for the game animal the client targets to harvest to be paid when booking, to lock in dates.
The deposit is non-refundable, but dates for hunt can be changed to another available agreed date.
The balance of payment id due 30 days before agreed arrival date by EFT.
Any extra expense incurred during your stay (e.g. another game animal) must be settled with cash payment before departure, as currently no credit card facilities are available.
